The Registan Square stands as one of Central Asia's most magnificent architectural ensembles, a UNESCO World Heritage site that once served as the intellectual heart of the Timurid Renaissance.
Under the night sky, the three madrasahs are bathed in warm artificial light, their intricate tilework and soaring minarets casting dramatic shadows across the empty plaza. The turquoise domes glow ethereally against the darkness.
Built between the 15th and 17th centuries, these Islamic schools represent the pinnacle of Persian-Timurid architecture, with their geometric patterns and calligraphic inscriptions telling stories of scholarship and faith along the ancient Silk Road.
