The remote village of Pisang sits at approximately 3,519 meters in Nepal's Manang District, surrounded by some of the world's highest peaks. Traditional stone houses with distinctive blue roofs dot the valley floor, contrasting with the rugged brown and green hillsides.
The Annapurna massif dominates the horizon, its glaciers and snow fields gleaming under the clear Himalayan sky. This section of the Annapurna Circuit offers trekkers breathtaking views of peaks exceeding 7,000 meters.
Spring morning light illuminates the valley, revealing the sparse vegetation typical of this high-altitude semi-arid region. Power lines mark the gradual modernization of this remote mountain community.
