Architectural Splendor
The stupa features a distinctive lotus-bud shaped spire covered in gold leaf, surrounded by smaller stupas and traditional Lao-style pavilions. The complex includes covered galleries with red-tiled roofs lining the courtyard.
Cultural Heritage
This UNESCO World Heritage candidate remains the center of Lao Buddhism and hosts the country's most important religious festival every November. Visitors walk the manicured grounds beneath the towering golden spire.
